#MondayMotivation Afraid of the Crowd/Competition?

This morning I got out of the house a few minutes earlier than my usual time only to get to the bus stop and meet with a crowd waiting to board a taxi. “Now I am going to be late for work”, I said to myself.

I stood there for another 20minutes feeling frustrated before finally getting a taxi. A Monday morning lesson popped up in my heart – Eventually each person’s taxi arrived 😀 of course with having to wait for a while.

Now, I want to challenge you in this short video about not fearing the crowd or competition even as you wait for your own bus or taxi to come in…Not necessarily at the bus stop but in the hustle and bustling of life

#MondayMotivation Old School Versus the new – Leverage on the 21st Century Technology

Hi,
Its been a while. Certainly miss you all. I hope to get back to sharing new posts now that I am on work break!

Earlier this year I decided to record short videos sharing motivational pieces and to also inspire my friends and followers to keep adding value to themselves. I didn’t have all the technological know how but hey using my Android phone to record was a good enough place to start. And I decided not to wait until things are perfect and just kick started it. My videos are better and I am helping loads of people out there from the feedbacks I’m getting. That’s good enough for me as I keep developing my craft and making it better.

Don’t wait to get things perfected before you start doing something about your goals, ideas and dreams. Just start and grow through the process.

Take a quick listen to my Monday  chat. This will take less than 3minutes. What are you doing with your social media platforms? Scale up your visibility. Don’t be shy to show case what you do. #NuggetsforAProductiveWeek

#MondayMotivation Take that step this week, you have got so much skills & talent, show case it! Wishing you a great new week!

How to be Optimistic about your Life

Lately there has been so many stories in the news about people who just throw in the towel and end it all.

A young girl committed suicide because her boyfriend jilted her just last week! Some others simply give up on life because of one disappointment or the other. Things are not adding up for you lately… Yes… But it is not the end of your life. Come on you are stronger than this!

You are not down and out! You are only down for a while so get up, your season is changing for good.

In this short video I share my heartfelt thoughts on being optimistic about your life & situation. Have a blessed & fruitful week

#MondayMotivation Something Good is Around the Corner, Be Ready!

It’s Monday again! Depressing for you? Why? Because everyone around you seem to have a job to go to while you are stuck with nothing to do. May be you lost your job or you are an applicant looking for a job. Perhaps you fall into the category of people who are retired!

So there isn’t so much to feel your time with and you feel frustrated and helpless. I am here to tell you this : SOMETHING GOOD IS AROUND THE CORNER, BE READY, WAIT FOR IT!

Be optimistic about finding that new opportunity and job that best suits you. Keep applying, don’t give in. But while you are at it, sit back to really assess what you really want to do with your life. What kind of job/employment are you really interested in? It is not every job that is suitable for you. Yes, earning money to make a living is important but working in a field/job that matches your skills and passion makes working a fulfilling journey.

If you are retired, get a hobby or volunteer your time for a social course or service. You may be retired but your life can still be exciting. SOMETHING GOOD IS AROUND THE CORNER, BE READY!

Have a fruitful week ahead!

Seize the Days in Your Week #MondayMotivation

It is a brand new week…Are you feeling fresh and ready to go?! I know for some your body aches probably because your weekend was busy with loads of tasks to finish.

Tips To Run With

  • Take a deep breath.
  • Maintain some minutes of quietness and make a list of things you are grateful for.
  • Pen your to-do list for today; the week…whatever works for you.
  • Take your tasks one at a time.
  • Stop worrying about whether the week will turn out fine. It will as you face each day with optimism and a can-do spirit.
  • Remember to rest in between your tasks. Have moments of me time

So go seize your week and make the best of it.

This post was inspired by the book titled- Seize the Day: Living on Purpose and making every day count written by Joyce Meyer.

This woman inspires me a great deal. She survived her abusive childhood and through Grace that found her came through the journey of finding healing and hope. Today she is a blessing to many lives, preaching the love of God and has written over 60 books. Now that is living life on purpose! The book “Seize the Day” is loaded, motivating and down to earth; after reading my copy of the book I am more intentional about my daily activities.

Some quotes from the book:

If we are not willing to risk what we have now, we will never find out what we could have

Passion keeps us going even in times when we want to give up.

A positive mind leads to an energetic, enthusiastic life –Joyce Meyer
